Description
This is a photograph of the Congregation of the Catechist Sisters of the Blessed Virgin. "[left to right]: Srs. Gabriel Marie, Gonzaga and Dominic. These are "the first four members of a new Chinese Sisterhood with the Maryknoll Sisters and who directed their training. An account of the ceremony on May 30, at which, in the midst of war, these young women vowed their lives to peace and love, has just reached the Maryknoll Sisters' Motherhouse, Maryknoll, N.Y."
