Description
Photograph of a man, woman and child working on a thatch wall, ca.1900. The man is shown at center, his back turned to the viewer, his elbows raised to his sides as if he were manipulating something at his chest. The woman is stout and stands to the left, clothed in a dress and apron, looking at the child who stands to the right. The child wears a vest and smock, and a round cap. The thatched wall in the background obscures a tall building even further back.
