Photograph article dated August 26, 1963 partially reads, "Canoga Park-Woodland Hills Pony League All-Stars attempt to bring another world series baseball championship to the San Fernando Valley as it opens its bid tonight for the coveted Pony League crown in the week-long playoff. Granada Hills Little League All-Stars bagged the Little League world series Saturday at Williamsport, Pa., by defeating Stratford, Conn., 2-1, in seven innings." Photograph caption reads, "Randy Cohen mows down Kearny Mesa for Western crown - Valley ace will pitch in Pony League World Series."
