Description: Black and white photograph showing a group of missionaries from the Primitive Methodist Missionary Society at their Christmas party, held at the Girls' School that they ran at Ovim, southeast Nigeria. Emily Godfrey, the Matron of the hospital at Ama Achara run by the mission, can be seen sitting second to left, on the middle row. Reverend Frederick Greenwell (based at Ovim) stands at the far right on the back row. This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey.
