Photograph caption dated January 11, 1947 reads, "Film star Ella Raines examines records of the Campo de Cahuenga in Universal City with William A. Allen, vice president of the San Fernando Valley Historical Society. Allen heads a committee which hopes to develop the little known Pico-Fremont landmark as a permanent memorial."
