Description: View of Main Street in Santa Paula, which has a population of 12,500 and is known as the "lemon capital of the world." The 1905 Odd Fellows' Town Clock tower is the prominent building in the center of the image. Sears & Roebuck, Deno & Stime Western Auto Supply Co., Seeber's Pharmacy, Hacks' Shop for Men, Chapek's Hardware, Firestone, Santa Paula Liquor, and various other service and retail stores make this an active business district. Photo dated: January 7, 1956.
