Description
Photograph of mounted Indian policemen, Washington(?), [s.d.]. Eight Indians on horses face the camera in what appear to be uniforms, although some have their jackets open and unbuttoned. Another Indian stands on a crate in front of them, also facing the camera in a light hat and a jacket similar to the men behind him. Children and other adults stand on the ground behind the policemen, almost all of them Indian. A black dog with a white head is lying down at right in front of the horses.
