St. Francis stands in the middle, holding a crucifx in his left hand and a skull in his right hand. A lamb stands to his left, while a large round flask lays on the tiled floor to his right. St. Francis is wearing his priest frock and sandals. There are a table and some plants in the background. A signature in the lower right corner reads "Jph. de Pacz fecit, en Mexico."
