About 300 Taft High School students cheer their team, winners of the ninth annual California Academic Decathlon, held last week in Sacramento. The Taft team, left to right, Lillian Morris, Jeremy Singer, David Hamberger, Jason Lawy, Doug Korngold, David Raikow, Matthew Petach and Marc Herskowitz, defeated 47 other high schools and will represent California in the National Academic Decathlon.
