Ginger Elliot of Claremont Heritage narrates a description of the Garner House in Claremont's Memorial Park. The Garner House was built in 1926-1927 for the Garner Family. Herman Garner was an inventor and founder of the Vortox Manufacturing Company in Claremont and both Bess and Herman Garner were champions of art and culture, funding the construction of the Padua Hills Theatre. The Spanish Colonial house's interior and exterior features are described. The Garner House was sold to the city in 1946, and since 2001 had been home to Claremont Heritage.
