Photograph caption dated May 12, 1956 reads, "John Kelly, left, of the Pacific Coast Boxer Club, presents a check for $466 to Joseph W. Jones, president of International Guiding Eyes, Inc. The money was raised at a benefit boxer dog show and is almost enough to pay for one fully-trained guide dog for a blind person. Jones' office is at 5501 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, where he receives donations for his non-profit work to aid the sightless."
