A woman holding a baby and two young boys walk on a road at El Porvenir Farm, located two kilometers south of the Honduras-Nicaragua border in June 1983. The two boys are walking behind the mother. Walking in the opposite direction are two Contra soldiers in military uniform. Both are holding Belgian FN FAL assault rifles. They are members of the Nicaraguan Democratic Force (FDN in Spanish), known informally as "Contras." Una mujer camina y sostiene a un bebé mientras dos niños caminan detrás de ella sobre un camino en la granja El Porvenir, localizada a dos kilómetros sur de la frontera entre Honduras y Nicaragua en junio de 1983.
