Description
Three teenage boys posing next to a run-down wooden shed, surrounded by trees. The youngest boy is wearing dungarees with large rolled cuff, sneakers, and a denim jacket. The two older boys next to him appear to be wearing matching plaid shirts with spread collar, and the boy furthest on the left appears to have a knife sheath attached to his belt. The boy in the middle is likely John F. Brooke, III, age 12. The other two boys may be his brothers Richard, age 13 or 14, and Robert, age 10. Bear Photo Service processing stamp on reverse with date stamp July 30, 1940.
