Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes
The Kagel Canyon Community Church was located at 11141 Osborne Street, Lake View Terrace.
Photograph article dated March 23, 1963 partially reads, "For 15 years, the Rev. Edward J. Bateman was minister to youths in trouble. He worked with them, counseled them, prayed with them. And after 15 years, he knew them. Last year, he moved from the ministry of the Los Angeles Juvenile Court to Kagel Canyon Community Church. There, he says, he hopes to keep youths in his area from ever needing a juvenile court minister."
