Description
Julie York Hockett and Ruby York discuss the history of the York House, located on the corner of Mar Vista and York Avenue in Whittier. This was the Whittier Historical Society's Design House of 1987. Oilman Victor York purchased the 1911 Craftsman-style home in 1935 from its original owner, pioneer oilman William L. Plotts.
