About 150 demonstrators opposed to the Khomeini regime of Iran stop off in front of the Japanese Consulate, located at 250 E. First Street, after parading around City Hall. Two gentlemen identified as "Behrouz" and "Mehdi" lead with bullhorns. The protestors targeted the Japanese Consulate because Japan maintains ties with Iran. Photograph dated March 4, 1989.
