Description
Gavin Lambert discusses his biography, “Natalie Wood.” He begins by explaining that he was a long-time friend of the late actress Natalie Wood, and wrote the screenplay for the film, “Inside Daisy Clover.” He talks about how Wood was a child star, and had a hard time at school interacting with other children. He discusses her breakthrough role in the film “Rebel Without a Cause” and how it transitioned her successfully from a child star to an adult actress. Lambert talks about Wood’s many marriages, remarriages, and relationships with men. He ends the interview by discussing a boating trip that she took on Thanksgiving, which resulted in her drowning.
