Description
Douglas Perham, Leonard Fuller and Cyril Elwell view one of first lamp bulbs to be installed aboard a steamship. The three were honored as "Pioneers of Western Electronics," at the Western Electronics Show and Convention, San Francisco, August 20, 1957. The bulb was among the initial equipment installed on the "Columbia," first vessel with incandescent illumination, fitted out for the purpose by the Union Iron Works of San Francisco in 1880.
