Description
Lizzie Cross Peckham, a.k.a. Elizabeth Powell, was the mother of Mamie Cross Lotz, the wife of Joseph A. Lotz, City Treasurer of San Jose. Both Cross women were writers and poets, frequently providing poems and stories for newspapers. It is not known whether Mrs. Peckham lived in San Jose.
