Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated March 16, 1955 reads "Leroy Shreve, of Canoga Park, loads mail into 'Mail Kart'--folding steel push cart-- while on North Hollywood route. Shreve calls cart 'real back saver,' and 'greatest investment for postmen.' Dozen similar carts are in use in North Hollywood. They are government approved, but mailmen have to pay for them."
