Photograph caption dated October 27, 1959 reads, "Firemen inspect damage to Burbank apartment house whcih [sic] was flooded when auto sheared off hydrant sending geyser onto roof. Accumulated water collapsed roof, sending flood into apartments. Eleven were left homeless."
