Photograph shows Old First Baptist Church, Red Bluff, California. Home Sweet, Home no sweet like home. Old frame First Baptist Church, SW corner Pine and Jefferson. organized 1860, Rev. W. S. Kidder, first Pastor voted to build church in 1872. Dedicated April 5, 1874, Cost $4,000.00. Remodeled in 1888, membership 80. Groundbreaking of new church on same site, November 20, 1910. Cost $25,000.00. Print taken from collection of Ruth Wells Caldwell, 5705 McAdoo Ave, Sacramento, CA 95819.
