Hinton interviewed 1967-03-07 morning - on his background (15) (a) 1967-03-14 David Crook 'Red China Today' - a talk given on January 6, 1967 [from the KPFA program]: 10:15 David Crook, an Englishman who has spent the past twenty years in China as a teacher and writer, speaking in San Francisco on January 6, 1967. Mr. Crook and his wife, Isabel, both teach English in Peking at the Foreign Languages Institute. They are the authors of 'The First Years of Yangyi Commune' (Routledge and Kegan Paul, London, 1966) and 'Revolution in a Chinese Village: Ten Mile Inn'. (b) 1967-03-17 2:30 'A View from Peking': Professor David Crook of Peking University, a British graduate of Columbia, has taught in China for over 20 years. He is interviewed by Paul Schaffer.
