Description
Photograph shows Tune Haun driving Gansner's oxen team with a two-log load in 1897. The logs are headed west through Quincy to the Gansner Mill. Until the advent of the railroad in 1910, most lumbering was for local consumption. After 1910, local lumber was shipped to world wide markets.
