Description
The former estate of Greek-born Alexander Pantages (1867-1936), located at 590 N. Vermont Ave., will soon be completely razed to accomodate a new Jewish community center. Note that architectural details (such as windows and doors) and curtains have not been removed from the structure. In the foreground the foundation of the new facility can be seen. An interior view of the large bay windows (above the truck in center) can be seen in image 00067038. Photo dated July 4, 1950.
