Description
Connie and Stephen begin the interview talking about the main character’s independent, particular ways as a cop, and his sex education. Stephen then talks about his own struggles with sex addiction and how that influenced his writing, in addition to his visit to a coroner’s office for research. Connie and Stephen then consider his writing process, and Connie closes this interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book. Connie and Debra begin the interview discussing the common perception of French women and how Debra came up with the idea for writing the novel, and some aspects of proper French etiquette and romantic relationships. They proceed to talk about the unemployment and welfare environment in France and how it differs from the U.S. before moving on to discuss the societal pressure for French women to stay thin and their views on dating, and the institution of marriage. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
