Michael Romanoff, who was the one to became an American citizen in 1958, operated Romanoff's restaurant from 1941 to 1962. The original location was at 326 N. Rodeo Drive and in 1951 it was moved to 240 S. Rodeo Drive, where this was taken. Photograph caption dated July 5, 1958 reads, "Bud De Cordova chats with Barbara Stanwyck for hours, the great and glamorous flowed through portals of Romanoff's famous Beverly Hills restaurant to share his joy of becoming a new citizen."
