Photograph caption dated January 11, 1961 reads, "John Korb III, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Korb Jr., 11490 Cumpson St., North Hollywood, is all smiles as he finds official notice of his selection as Lankershim district's 'Scouter of the Year' in the family mail slot. John is 14; a student at Walter Reed Junior High, and an Eagle Scout of Troop 99 sponsored by North Hollywood First Presbyterian Church where he holds the 'For God and Country' award."
