Photograph of Nevada County Views, showing Pennsylvania Mine from the rear, ca.1910. In the extreme foreground at left, a rocky slope descends towards the right. At the base of the slope, a large cluster of trees can be seen. In the extreme foreground at left, a large building is visible with a steep sloping roof on one side that nearly reaches the base of the building. To the far right, a similar building can be seen. A long, metal walkway connects the top sections of both structures. Along the base of both structures, smaller buildings can be seen. At center, tall smokestacks emerge from the roof of another structure. Tall trees can be seen in the extreme background.
