The Anne Banning Community House, headquarters for the Assistance League of Southern California, is located at 1370 North St. Andrews Place in Hollywood. It was dedicated in September 1964. Showing some of the items featured in the shop to Chester Pearce of Sherman Oaks are Mrs. Alan Newton, left, and Mrs. Robert Fenton Craig. The Gift Shop is now settled in its permanent quarters in the new Ann Banning Community House. Spacious cabinets and counters display attractive old and new gifts of silver, glass and china, objects d'art and many smaller items. The event will be an opportunity for men to find suitable gifts for the women on their Christmas lists. Gift wrapping also is available. Dinner will be served in the new Tea Room."
