Description
Photograph of the two-story adobe on the Lugo Ranch shown from the northeast, ca.1934. A long, two-story adobe stands at center in three-quarters profile. To the right, the adobe's corners are fortified by wood paneling, in which a window can be seen on each of the adjoining walls, both top and bottom. To the left, a door is visible on the ground floor, just in front of the stairs that lead to the second-floor wrap around balcony. Farther in the foreground at left, small trees and a few rocks are partitioned off from the road by two-by-fours. In the background to the right, a second, one-story building can be seen. A single chimney can be seen at the center of the adobe's shingled roof. Shrubs and weeds can be seen growing along the foundation.
