Description
Photograph of a pipeline in the Jawbone Siphon of the Los Angeles Aqueduct, Mojave Desert, Kern County, ca.1915. A large, riveted metal pipeline runs down from a tall hill at the center of the image, turning to the right just before exiting the frame. Debris, small carts and building materials line the pipe to either side. A depot is visible at right at the foot of the hill. Further off in the distance, two horses stand.
