Photograph of an exterior view of Palm Knoll, the residence of Gov. (later Senator) George C. Perkins in Vernon Heights, Oakland, 1910-1930 Various trees and flowering bushes cover the yard in the foreground with a fountain near the house on the left. Stairs lead to the entrance of the large home which continues into the trees in the background. A second structure with a dome top stands on the right. Hills stand in the distance. The Palm Knoll was demolished in early 1947.
