Description
Annotation translation: "They all belong to the same Brahmin family. - [On the rear] Note: The Brahmin with the holy string (B.A.) is Government servant and poet - e.g. In honour of the christian religion the old man (Balappe) wrote the astronomical information in the Canarese christian Calender (the text has been [reading uncertain] by Christenatscha Watsa, theoligical teacher at ... [Reading uncertain]."
Annotation: "Alle gehören zu derselben Brahmanenfamilie. (i.w.S.). - [Rückseite:] Bemerkung: Der Brahmine mit der hl. Schnur (B.A.) ist Regierungsangestellter, ist Dichter - z.B. zu Ehren der christlichen Relgion
der Alte (Balappe) verfasst die astronomischen Angaben im canar. christl. Kalender (der Text ist von Christenatscha Watsa, theol. Lehrer am ... [Entzifferung unklar]."
