Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Elk's Club building in Los Angeles, January 1935. The large concrete building can be seen at center. It has a wide base with a narrower tower in the middle of the structure. Small rectangular windows are visible on the tower, while large arched windows can be seen on the base. A massive archway can be seen at right, serving as a doorway. An American flag is flying from the roof of the building. In the foreground, several early-model automobiles can be seen parked along the sides of a road. Compares to CHS-36558, which shows the same view with the flag in a slightly different position.
