Description
Photograph caption dated July 2, 1964 reads, "Fred Flores, 20, of 6519 Kelvin St., Canoga Park, left, receives $100 check from Jack Price of the Amco Insurance Co. for his action in routing tenants safely from a burning apartment building at 5546 Lindley Ave., Encino, last Monday. The Valley State College student was delivering newspapers when he spotted the fire and called for help."
