Photographic print dated May 11, 1954 reads, "A fashion show of modern and ancient Chinese costumes will be the highlight of the Sixth annual Chinese Bazaar and Chinese Dinner to be held at Catholic Chinese Center at 1116 North Figueroa Street. The affair is a benefit for the Catholic Chinese Academy. Here four of the girls, assisted by members of the Chinese Drum and Bugle Corps, practice for the show.
