Walt Disney testifies in a Los Angeles courthouse that his company's cartoon 'Mickey's Polo Club' did not plagiarize a rejected script that had been submitted by plaintiff John P. Wade. Disney claimed the imagery showing horses bestride their riders was a 'reversal gag' dating back to Aesop's Fables - and the judge agreed. Photograph dated January 11, 1938.
