St. Peter Armenian Church is located at 17231 Sherman Way in Van Nuys.
Photograph caption dated December 26, 1964 reads, "Members of the Mr. and Mrs. Society of the St. Peter Armenian Church, Encino, front, Mr. and Mrs. Levon Chaloukian, and rear, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Soukiassian, have been busy making gold glittered airplanes suspended above globes for centerpieces for the church's first New Year's Eve party which will be held at the Institute of Aerospace Sciences, Hollywood."
