May is shown with partly installed new radio communications equipment which has been lying idle seven months at Valley Division police headquarters in Van Nuys. Equipment can't be used until money is appropriated to remodel two rooms to accommodate it. New unit will allow several operators to work at same time. Only one can use present facilities."
