Description
Photograph of song sheet drawing for "Come Josephine in My Flying Machine" by Alfred Bryan and Fred Fischer, ca.1912. At center, a man and a woman are seen sitting on the platform of a crude, double-decker plane as it rises above the clouds. The man and woman both wear darkly-colored attire, and the woman's scarf is seen fluttering in the wind. The wingspan of the plane expands above and below the couple. To the right, an additional two flaps connected to the edge of the wing can also be seen. The three wheels of the plane are seen next to its whirring propeller. A large, circular sun sits in the background behind the couple. At the top of the image, the words "Come Josephine In My Flying Machine (Up She Goes)" are visible. In the lower right corner, an oval with the picture of two women in country clothing is also seen.
