Description
Photograph shows the Encino Ranch House built by Vincente de la Osa and located near Ventura Blvd. Amestoy Estate last owned the Rancho, which is believed to be the first site of the San Fernando Mission, until it was subdivided in 1938. It was abandoned early in construction because of a severe earthquake. Photograph dated June 19, 1946.
