Description: Santa Monica Public Library Image Archives. J29 Digital object 0434 img0072 Security First National Bank Collection. The Santa Monica Road Races were held from 1909 until 1919. The course was 8.4 miles and ran along Ocean Avenue, Wilshire Blvd. and San Vicente Blvd.
