Description
Six guerrilleros stand in front of destroyed buildings in San Agustín. The guerrillas are not wearing uniforms and are all armed. They are all holding M16 assault rifles of U.S. origin except for the second man from the left who is holding an FN FAL battle rifle of Belgian origin. Guerrillas occupied San Agustín after retreating from Berlín for a couple of weeks during the month of February in 1983. During this time, its population dropped from 6,000 to 4,000 as civilians abandoned their homes due to fear of the occupation.
