Description
Photograph caption dated July 28, 1988 reads, "Crash scene: Los Angeles city firefighters survey the damage after a collision between a big-rig tractor trailer carrying a load of plums and a Southern Pacific freight train this morning in Sun Valley. The truck driver was taken to Pacifica Hospital of the Valley with undisclosed injuries, fire officials said. The accident occurred at Penrose Street crossing."
