Pacific Electric Railway streetcar at the Santa Monica station on Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica.
"Santa Monica P.E. 1940"--text, handwritten in ink on verso. Title and date devised by cataloger based on note on verso. The Pacific Electric Railway system of electric streetcars and rail was also known as the Red Car system.
