It originates from Lake Malawi. -- Lydia Maria Meyer (1865 in South Africa -- 1907), née Kunick, was a teacher and a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine having gotten married to Theodor Meyer (1864-1933) in 1893. Until her death she served in Nyasa, East Africa.
