Caption slip reads: "Photographer: Brunk. Date: 1956-09-22. Assignment: Teenage Shooting. Special Instructions: 19th Ave near the Lincoln Hghts. Jail. 32/33: Fighting and then shooting over a girl friend, caused the death by a 22 rifle, of Thomas Esparaza, 16. B34: Det. Sgt. Bill Barclay, check over the body of the victim, Esparaza.
