Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph article dated February 16, 1962 partially reads, "As president of J. E. Fowler and Associates, his annual salary falls within the upper five per cent of the national average. And his day-to-day activities, investment programs, club memberships and business associations reflect the refined tastes of a typical business executive. But when it coms to outdoor recreation, the tastes of Joe Fowler differ dramatically from those of his contemporaries. While most executives pursue such well accepted weekend sports as golf, tennis, skeet shooting, hunting and fishing or the like, Fowler displays a truly individualistic flair in his choice of outdoor fun - he ropes steers. That's right, HE ROPES STEERS!" Photograph caption reads, "Businessman turns cowboy - Joseph Fowler checks chute for roping steers."
