Description
Personal ephemera of Royden Thornberg. Includes ephemera from Meyer's Coffee Shop, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, King Gun Sight Company; business card for Thornberg Electric Works (A. F. Thornberg, 590 Howard Street), a program for a lecture on art appreciation given by Maria von Ridelstein at the Paul Elder Gallery, and a 1935 color calendar from W. W. Grainger, Inc. In addition are x-rays from Thornberg's dentist Dr. James Fleming, processed by the California X-Ray Laboratories in November 1921. Also included are assorted typescripts of essays and quotes about newspapermen, palm reading, history of music and astrology, morality, the Bible.
